How this site works
Short version: this is an independent local guide with a phone number on it. We research and publish plain-English information about septic and lagoon pumping around Wichita, and when you call, you reach an independent local septic company, not us.
What this site is
Wichita Septic Pumping is an independently operated referral and lead-generation website covering septic tank pumping, lagoon pumping, and related services in Wichita and Sedgwick County, Kansas. We built it because the practical local details (who issues permits, how lagoons are regulated here, what pumping costs) were scattered across county PDFs and state bulletins. Every local claim on this site is researched and cited; the sources are listed at the bottom of each guide.
Who answers when you call
Calls to (316) 555-0184 are forwarded to independent local septic companies that serve the Wichita area. The company that answers your call, not this website, schedules the work, quotes the price, sends the truck, and is responsible for the service you receive. We are not a septic contractor. We do not own pump trucks, employ technicians, or perform any septic work.
How we get paid
Companies receiving these calls may pay us a referral fee for the calls and form requests this site generates. If they do, that is the site's only revenue. You pay nothing extra by calling through this site, and the company that takes your call sets its own prices the same way it would for any customer who found it directly.
What we don't do
- We don't claim to be "licensed and insured." We're a website. Each company holds its own licenses, and you should feel free to ask them about licensing and insurance directly.
- We don't publish fake reviews or testimonials. You won't find any reviews here at all.
- We don't invent prices or statistics. Our cost guide explains exactly where each number comes from.
- We don't pretend to be a government office. For permits and code questions, we link you to the actual county and state agencies.
Calls and form requests
The phone number on this site is a tracking number, which is how calls from this site are counted and, where a referral fee applies, billed; calls may be recorded or logged for that purpose. If you use the callback form, what you submit is sent to a local septic company so they can call you back; see our privacy notes for the details.
Want to shop around instead?
Good idea. For non-emergency work, two or three quotes is the smart play. Searching "septic pumping Wichita" will turn up several established local companies. Our cost guide tells you what questions to ask so quotes are comparable.
